2010-2011 Objectives
- Ongoing strategic plan management
OTHER INFORMATION Membership to the Society is granted on receipt of the prescribed application form from each State / New Zealand and ANZUNS functions under guidelines from its Statement of Purpose.
An elected president coordinates an executive committee of State / New Zealand representatives. This committee is elected on an annual basis and communicates by mail, email, facsimile, phone and teleconferences as required.
Although independent of each other, each State / New Zealand has a Urological Nurses Society and these function in a similar manner.
The aim of ANZUNS and USANZ is to coordinate at a national level an annual meeting of urology nurses. This forum, held in conjunction with the Urological Society of Australasia's Annual Meeting, enables urology nurses to meet together. This meeting is now of international standard and provides exposure to current international and local trends in urological practice, as well as a major medical industry exhibition. Nurses present their work based on both research and clinical levels.
