 The Queensland Urological Nurses Society (QUNS) was formed in 1992, with the aim of supporting and educating nurses, and others who practice in the speciality of urology. The group became incorporated in 2008 (QUNS Inc.). Membership of Queensland Urological Nurses Society Inc. is open to nurses working in or having an interest in Urology and we welcome both new and existing members to enjoy the benefits of QUNS Inc. membership.

QUNS Inc. Study day
This is one of the highlights of our year and to cater for the diverse needs of our membership, the program is heavily based on feedback from previous study days. It is a great opportunity to network with other nurses with similar interests and will be held in August 2010 (application form below).
QUNS Inc. Educational Meetings
These events are held quarterly at various venues around Brisbane, and are open to members free of charge and for a small fee to non-members.
ANZUNS membership and National conference
Membership of QUNS Inc includes membership of the Australia and New Zealand Urological Nurses Society (ANZUNS). Financial members of QUNS Inc. qualify for membership rates at the annual joint Urological Society of Australia and New Zealand and Australia and New Zealand Urological Nurses Society conference. The next conference will be held in New Zealand 2011 and if you are interested in attending or presenting, consider applying for a financial grant from QUNS Inc. Contact QUNS Inc. or a committee member for more information.
Membership fee is for the financial year July 1 – June 30.
Full membership:
Of QUNS Inc. is available to nurses for $40.00 per year. This allows members to attend all educational evenings without cost, attend and vote at the AGM. Attendees of the National conference must be financial members to qualify for membership rates.
Associate membership:
Of QUNS Inc.is available to companies for $50.00 per year. This allows employees of the company to become associate members of QUNS, attend all educational evenings without cost, but not attend and vote at the AGM.
