The Queensland Urological Nurses Society (QUNS) was formed in 1992, with the aim of supporting and educating nurses, and others who practice in the speciality of urology. Educational meetings are held quarterly at various venues around Brisbane, and are open to members free of charge and for a small fee to non-members.
Membership: Membership of Queensland Urological Nurses Society is open to nurses and others working in or having an interest in Urology. Membership fee is for the financial year July 1 – June 30.
Full membership: Of QUNS is available to nurses for $30.00 per year. This allows members to attend all educational evenings without cost, attend and vote at the AGM
Associate membership: Of QUNS is available to companies for $50.00 per year. This allows employees of the company to become associate members of QUNS, attend all educational evenings without cost, but not attend and vote at the AGM.
If attending the yearly Joint Urological Society of Australasia and Australasian Urological Nurses conference, intending attendees must be financial members of QUNS when applying for conference registration.
