AIMS The South Australian Urological Nurses Interest Group was formed in 1995 by Margaret Southwell with only 5 members. This membership has grown to a recorded high this financial year of 24 members. The SAUNIG has been established to provide a network for those interested in and working in the field of urological nursing. The group provides a forum for education, information sharing and a combined opportunity to promote a high standard of care in urological nursing in all arenas of healthcare.
MEETINGS The meetings are held at 6.00 pm bimonthly on the last Tuesday of that month, and rotate through various hospitals (both public and private) around Adelaide . Meetings include a business agenda followed by a guest speaker. The agenda and meeting flier along with the previous meeting minutes are circulated to all financial members prior to meetings.
MEMBERSHIP Membership fees are $50.00 per year due on 1st July each year. $10.00 of this amount is forwarded to the Australia and New Zealand Urological Nurses Society. We are always open to new members; therefore if you are interested in joining the SAUNS Inc. please contact one of the committee members above for more information.
