ANZUNS Mission Statement
The Australia and New Zealand Urological Nurses Society Inc. is a special interest nursing group, aiming to promote excellence in urology nursing through identification of best practice, promoting research based practice and educational initiatives. . The Society supports nurses within Australia and New Zealand practicing in urology through its educational forums, national and international meetings, networking and dissemination of information

The specific aim of this document is to outline the strategic plan for ANZUNS Inc. for the period 2008 - 2010
This strategic plan incorporates the following objectives reflected in the mission statement:
1. To foster support for ANZUNS leadership and membership 2 To promote development of sub specialty Urology Interest Groups 3. To provide information on Urological educational opportunities
4 To promote urological nursing research
5 To maintain and promote affiliations with recognized international Urological Nursing Organizations.
6 To develop a funded ANZUNS Project Officer role.
