The Tasmanian Urological Nurses Society has been established with the aim of providing a communication network for those nurses with an interest in urological nursing.
The Tasmanian Urological Nurses Society will provide a forum for education, research and information sharing, as well as promoting the highest standard of care in urological nursing.
The Tasmanian Urological Nurses Society is a member of the Australian Urological Nurses Society.
The Tasmanian Urological Nurses Society supports the ideal of these objectives:
- To promote nursing research
- To provide educational opportunities
- To provide a communication network
- To facilitate access to relevant resource material
- to promote the role of the urological nurse in health care
- to promote a high standard of urological nursing practice.
