ANZUP Annual Scientific Meeting 2018
8-10 July 2018 | Hyatt Regency Sydney
The 7th standalone ANZUP Annual Scientific Meeting (ASM) is being held from 8-10 July at the Hyatt Regency Sydney.
The theme is ‘Putting People First’ and will focus on the management of GU cancers from a holistic, people-centric perspective. Putting People First means focusing on patients, carers and every individual involved in the multidisciplinary care of patients and clinical trials research. It is a sentiment which not only reflects ANZUP’s priorities but is also a tribute to the many individuals who have made ANZUP what it is today.
Why should delegates register for #ANZUP18? Things are changing in uro-oncology at breakneck speed to the extent that even taking a year off from work in this area would have you feeling outdated. If you want to be where it’s all happening, this is where you need to be.
Take advantage of the early bird rates and register now by following on the link above.
Highlights will include:
Asia-Pacific Prostate Cancer Conference 2018
22-25 August 2018 | Brisbane Convention & Exhibition Centre
The Australian Prostate Centre is proud to present the 19th Asia-Pacific Prostate Cancer Conference in Brisbane, Australia from the 22nd to 25th of August 2018.
World leaders in prostate cancer clinical management and research will meet in Brisbane bringing their depth of knowledge and experience to discuss all facets of prostate cancer management including treatment and scientific advances.
We are proud that the conference has grown over 20 years to be the world’s largest comprehensive meeting in the discipline. The program will include streams of Clinical Urology, Translational Science, Nursing & Allied Health and General Practice. Our Committee are working on delivering a program which ensures the most contemporary information and research-validated findings are presented. We are witnessing treatment advances and new research findings at a rate never seen before. We are delighted that our Brisbane Urology colleagues Peter Heathcote, Peter Swindle and John Yaxley are our local representatives and are assisting with the content of our program.
Our aim is to view prostate cancer as a multi-disciplinary team effort and deliver a program that reflects this. The need for increased education, specialist training and sharing of knowledge in our quest for optimising prostate cancer outcomes has never been as important. The themes in 2018 will involve locally advanced and metastatic prostate cancer, research, diagnosis and management. We will highlight the emerging role of Prostate MRI and PSMA Pet Scanning in contemporary prostate cancer management.
The Conference will be held at the Brisbane Convention and Exhibition Centre located in the Southbank Precinct. We plan to deliver plenty of opportunities for you to engage with the Conference delegates including a Welcome to destination event on the Wednesday evening.
We do look forward to having you with us in Brisbane and welcome your involvement.
